With his three U.S. Amateur Championship wins he & Bobby Jones are the only golfers to win 13 majors before age 30. Woods has won more times on the PGA Tour than any other active golfer & he holds the PGA Tour record for most consecutive tournament cuts made with 142.

Tiger Woods, who is of mixed race, is credited with prompting a major surge of interest in the game of golf, especially among racial minorities & younger people in the United States.

Tiger Woods is from a comfortable social background. He was born in California. His father, Earl Woods, is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel, of mixed African American, Caucasian, & Native American ancestry. He is now the chairman of Wood’s charitable Tiger Woods Foundation. Woods' mother Kultida Woods is originally from Thailand & has mixed Thai & Chinese origin.

Woods' actual given name is Eldrick & He was given the nickname Tiger at birth after a Vietnamese war comrade of his father's & became generally known by that name. However, by the time he was achieving national prominence in amateur golf, was always called Tiger Woods.

In 2003, Woods became engaged to Elin Nordegren, a Swedish model. In 2004, they married in a sunset ceremony at the Sandy Lane Hotel & Golf Club on Barbados amid armed security before 200 family & friends.

Amateur career

Woods was a child genius who began to play golf at a very young age. In 1984 he won the 9-10 boys' event at the Junior World Golf Championships. He went on to win the American Junior Amateur title in 1991, 1992 & 1993. He remains the youngest ever winner & the only multiple winner. He followed this with 3 consecutive American Amateur titles the next 3 years. With his first US Amateur win in 1994, Woods became the youngest man ever to win that event. He attended Stanford University & won one NCAA individual championship.

Professional career

In August 1996, Woods became a professional golfer playing his first round of professional golf at the Greater Milwaukee Open. He won 2 events in the 3 months of the 1996 season that he played as a professional. The following April Woods won The Masters by a record margin of 12 shots & he has been by far the highest profile golfer in the world since then. In the summer of 1997, he made a great achievement to be the number one in the Official World Golf Rankings for the first time. To date, Woods has won 45 official money events on the PGA Tour & 15 other professional titles.

Tamara Ecclestone is the daughter of a billionaire & a model whose career seems to revolve around lifestyle & glamor work. Ecclestone’s most famous television project was a reality show all about her called Billion $$ Girl. She is 30 & has been engaged 3 times to a series of unsuitable men. Matthew Paige Damon or better known to fans as Matt Damon was born in Boston, United States of America to Kent Damon, a stockbroker, Realtor & tax preparer & Nancy Carlson-Paige, a primary education professor at Lesley University. Matt Damon has an older brother named Kyle who is now a sculptor. Unfortunately his parents divorced in 1973.

While his parents were still together, they lived in Newton, before settling for a divorce, where Matt & his brother moved with his mother to Cambridge. Matt grew up in a stable community back in Massachusetts. In his younger age he grew up near actor Ben Affleck.

Matt Damon attended Cambridge Ridge & Latin School which is located in Cambridge & he performed in several theater productions there. Later, he was accepted into Harvard University as an English major in the fall of 1988. While in Harvard, Matt kept on skipping classes to pursue his acting projects that included the TNT original film, rising Sun & prep-school drama, School Ties. He continues this until his film, Geronimo: An American Legend in 1993 was expected to be a big success that he decided to drop out of university completely.

After arriving in Hollywood, Luckily, Damon managed to get his first break with a part in the romantic comedy, Mystic Pizza (1988). Though the film did not do too well, he didn’t get disappointed. He went for another audition & managed to get a starring role in School Ties.

Up next for Matt Damon was a role as a soldier who had problems with drug addiction in the movie, Courage Under Fire in 1996. In the year 1998, he played the title role in Steven Spielberg's film-“ Saving Private Ryan”. It was one of the most admired films in that year. Matt was lucky to had the opportunity of working with Tom Hanks & Vin Diesel while filming that movie.

The next year, Matt rejoined his childhood friend, Ben Affleck & fellow comedian, Chris Rock, in the comedy Dogma (1999). Matt lent his voice to the animated movie, Titan A.E. (2000) which also earned mixed reviews from the public.

One of his most popular works to date is his role in the "Bourne" movie franchise. Matt plays an amnesiac assassin nameds "Jason Bourne", in The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy (2004) & The Bourne Ultimatum (2007).

In his personal life, Matt Demon is now happily married to Argentine born Luciana Barroso. He met with her in Miami. They married in a private civil ceremony on 9^th December in 2005, at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau.
