Kate Winslet is the youngest actress who was nominated six times for Academy Award and won the Academy Award in best actress category for the film The Reader in 2008.
The British celebrity actress full name is Kate Elizabeth Winslet, CBE. She was born in October 05, 1975 in Berkshire in England. Winslet was born into a family of actors in theater. Her parents are Roger Winslet and Sally Bridges Winslet. Kate Winslet is the second among her brethren Joss Winslet, Anna Winslet and Beth Winslet.
Raised in Berkshire at age 11 began studying acting at the Redroofs Theatre School and at 12 she made her first television appearance by participating in an Addirected by Tim Pope.
