Born on 15th April 1990, Emma Watson is an associate English theatrical actress and model. She rose to prominence with her role “Hermione Granger” in the Harry Potter film series. Emma Watson was cast as Hermione at the age of 9, having until then acted solely in class plays. From 2001 to 2011 Emma Watson appeared in eight Harry Potter films along with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. Emma Watson’s work on the Harry Potter series has earned her many awards and over £10 million. She made her modelling debut for Burberry's Autumn/Winter campaign in 2009.

In 2007, Emma Watson proclaimed her involvement in two productions: the TV adaptation of the novel Ballet Shoes and the animated film, “The Tale of Despereaux”. Ballet Shoes was broadcast on 26th Dec 2007 to an audience of 5.2 million, and thereafter “The Tale of Despereaux”, based on the novel by Kate DI Camille, was released in 2008 and grossed over $86 million in worldwide sales. In 2012, Emma Watson appeared in the film adaptation of author Chomsky’s “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”, and was cast in the role of Ila in Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic “Noah”.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson may shortly move to the U.S. to pursue further studies, as per reports. Earlier this year (2009), the national thespian proclaimed that she was putting her acting career on hold to target her degree. According to the British newspaper “The News of the Planet”, Emma Watson applied to variety of faculties within the U.K. and America, but has currently settled on the celebrated Brown in Rhode Island.

Emma Watson is cutting her ties with the style world to focus entirely on her acting career. Emma Watson has previously served as the face of a fashion firm’s waterproof and cosmetic makeup, and she recently teamed up with honest trade corporation “Individuals Tree” as an imaginative adviser and helped in planning two consumer goods ranges. "It was fun when I was younger, however I do not think it will be a big part of my future, honestly. I often wish to wear a dress and lots of make-up, but I would like to wear jeans most of the time”.

In 2009, following many months of rumours, Emma Watson confirmed that she would be partnering with waterproof as the face of their Autumn/Winter 2009 campaign, and she had received a six-figure fee for it. She also appeared in Burberry's 2010 Spring/Summer campaign along with her brother Alex, musicians Saint George Craig and Matt Gilmour, and model Georgia May. In Feb 2011, Emma Watson was awarded the design Icon award from British Elle by Dame Vivienne Westwood. She continued her involvement in fashion advertising when she proclaimed she had been chosen as the face of Lancôme in March 2011.

In Sep 2009, Watson proclaimed her involvement with “Individuals Tree”. Emma Watsonworked as an imaginative adviser for “Individuals Tree” to form a spring line of consumer goods that was released in Feb 2010; the various featured designs inspired by southern France and London. The collection was widely advertised in magazines like adolescent Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and People. Emma Watson argued that "Fashion could be a good way to empower individuals and provide them with skills. Instead of giving money to charity you should facilitate individuals by shopping for the garments they create and supporting things they pride themselves in doing". Emma Watson assumes youngsters in America have become more and more responsive to humanitarian problems and wish to form sensible decisions; however there are not several choices out there. Emma Watson continued her involvement with “Individuals Tree”, leading to the release of a 2010 Autumn/Winter assortment. Emma Watson has appeared in magazine FHM for six years running in the “Sexiest Girls” list. She first appeared in the list, voted for by readers, in 2007, placed 98th. The subsequent years saw her placed 33rd, 47th, 29th, 23rd, and 64th in 2012.
