Tyra Banks was born in CA (USA) in April, 1973.
Her career took off after signing a contract with the ad agency Elite, her voluptuous body making her one of the most sought after models during the 90s. Among her highlights is being the primary African-American model that the UN agency has asterisked within the cowl of U.S. magazine Sports Illustrated (1996). Her physical qualities have even placed heramongst the favourite mannequins of the underclothing brand Victoria’s Secret.
She was elected in 1994 and 1996 in concert of the fifty most stunning folks within the world by U.S. magazine Folks. Its Beauty has been featured in campaigns for Dolce &Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Yves Saint-Laurent and XOXO, among alternative corporations. Tyra owes her fame to modelling, but she has directed that success to other areas as well. Tyra Banks' TV career began with the fourth season of “Leader of Bel-Air”, where she plays Jackie, the ex-girlfriend of Will Smith. Tyra Banksappeared on “Felicity” and also the third season of Gossip girl in the role of Ursula. Apart from her role as producer, presenter and jury head of the television show “America's Next Top Model”, she currently presents “The Tyra Banks Show”, associate degree interview show that premiered in the U.S in December, 2005. The program seeks stories of traditional people and mixes them with celebrity interviews, terribly just like the initial format of The Oprah Winfrey Show. She simultaneously appeared on Mad TV.
In 2011 she created waves with her appearance on the season finale of the TV program Mexico's Next Top Model.

Banks appeared in the video for "Black or White"by archangel Joe Jackson, with fellow manikin Linda Evangelista in the video "Too Funky" by St. Patron saint archangel. In 2004, she recorded her first and exclusive single, “Shake Ya Body”. She also did one with NBA star Kobe Bryant, "KOBE," and another single from the producer film Life-Size, entitled "Be a Star".

Tyra Banks has had minor roles in many films. She debuted in 1995 with Higher Learning. She co-starred with Lindsay in the movie by film maker, Life-Size. She also starred in “Dotty Stinks” in 1999, “Coyote Ugly” in 2000 in the role ofZoe, a lassie at the bar table who decides to trip varsity and Halloween, and “Resurrection” in 2002. She participated in "Hannah Montana: The movie" as the representative of actress-singer Miley Cyrus the Younger in 2009 on E! Tyra Banks is among the richest models of TV with a fortune of $ 70,000,000, over Heidi Klum, who is in second place.
