Onika Maraj Tanya, better known by his stage name is Nicki Minaj is an artist and composer Trinitarian hip-hop and R & B. She was born on December 8, 1984 in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago to parents of African descent India and Trinidad and Tobago. He lived in Trinidad and Tobago with his grandmother until he was five, when he moved to Queens in New York. Minaj had a tumultuous childhood and describes his father as an alcoholic and a drug addict who once tried to kill his mother through the house on fire. He attended Elizabeth Blackwell Middle School 210, where he played the clarinet and graduated from LaGuardia High School. At LaGuardia, a school specializing in music and visual and performing arts, Minaj participated in the drama program.

Minaj released her first mixtape Playtime Is Over with Dirty Money Records in 2007, followed shortly by his second mixtape Sucka Free in 2008, which led her to win the Female Artist of the Year at the Underground Music Awards. In 2009, he released his third mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty under the seal Trapaholics Records . The success of his mixtapes attracted the attention of many labels and Minaj ultimately signed a contract with Young Money Entertainment in August 2009. Their debut album, Pink Friday , went platinum a month after its launch on November 19, 2010, which is an American holiday known as Black Friday. Minaj became the first artist to have seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time! His most infamous singles including "Your Love", "Check It Out", "Right Through Me" and "Moment 4 Life".

Minaj admits that his current image as a bisexual symbol is partly based on his impressions of rappers when she was little. Although she thought she would have to imitate rappers talking earlier about sex a lot, she has made a conscious decision itself pararepresentarse so than sex appeal.

Since parents often fought when I was growing up, Minaj escaped his problems, posing as different characters. His sense of developing creative alter ego allowed him to change reality to fantasy. Minaj explained his need for new identities in the television program,Chelsea Lately . She identifies several identities that she has called "Cookie," "Harajuku Barbie," "Roman Zolanski" and his most famous ego "Nicki Minaj". Explains Minaj Nicki Minaj is not in his song "Roman's Revenge," but his alter ego is speaking Roman Zolanski with Eminem's ego, which is called "Slim Shady."

Despite its name "Minaj" is a play on words with menage a trois , which means two girls with a child in bed in French, Minaj says that she has sex with women. She, however, embrace people of different lifestyles and tells people with bad self-esteem are beautiful. Their music videos, lyrics, clothing, life history, and contribute to the extraordinary egos unique and one of a kind of personality that has developed on its own.
